Lacey Police Charge Bayville Man With Drunk Driving After His Truck Strikes Tree

Lacey police recently arrested a Bayville man and charged him with driving under the influence after his Dodge Ram pickup truck ran over a curb and struck a tree, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Julie Barcalow responded to the parking lot of the Family Dollar store in Forked River at 9 p.m. on June 19 on a report of a one-car motor vehicle accident.

Further investigation led to the arrest of the driver, Raymond Ramos, 52, Trenton Avenue North. He was taken to police headquarters where he was also charged with reckless driving, Paprota said.

His truck was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
