Lacey Police Charge Little Silver Man With Drunk Driving On Oyster Creek Property

Timothy Linden, 52, stopped at security checkpoint, police chief says.

A Little Silver man was arrested recently and charged with driving under the influence at a security checkpoint at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Andrew Slota responded to the nuclear plant at 800 Route 9 South in Forked River at 12:32 a.m. on Dec. 23 on a report of an intoxicated driver, the chief said.

Timothy Linden, 52, Woodbine Avenue, was also charged with reckless driving and refusal to submit breath samples, Paprota said.

Security personnel reported that the vehicle and Linden were not authorized to be on the property and upon stopping the driver at the security checkpoint, the driver appeared to be intoxicated, the chief said.

His vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, Paprota said.
