Lacey Police Charge Man With Heroin Possession After Responding To Dispute

Lacey police recently charged a Forked River man with possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe after the responded to a report of a dispute, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officers Michael Eden and Evan Androcy responded to Mainsail Court in Forked River at 3:31 p.m. on Feb. 25. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of William P. Schick III, 20, Mainsail Court River, on an outstanding $1,000 Lacey Township Municipal Court warrant and a $350 Ocean Township (Waretown) Municipal Court warrant, the chief said.

Police also found a hypodermic syringe containing heroin during the arrest. Schick was transported to police headquarters and processed, then taken to the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail for the drug charges, Paprota said.
