Lacey Police Charge Manahawkin Man With Drunk Driving, Heroin Possession

Bradley Gesser, 25, arrested at Wawa on Lacey Road

A Manahawkin man is facing drunk driving and heroin possession after Lacey police arrested him at the Wawa on Lacey Road in Forked River recently, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officers John Cernek and Jason Lee responded to the store at 2:46 p.m. on June 20 on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Bradley Gesser, 25, Swordfish Road. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged possession of hypodermic syringes, reckless driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, the chief said.

Gesser’s vehicle was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, Paprota said.
