Lacey Police Charge Two From Brick At Booze And Bonfire Party In Woods
Posts on social media invited Brick teens to party, police chief says.

Lacey police recently arrested two Brick Township residents for underage consumption of alcohol at a party in the woods in the Bamber Lakes section of the township, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas was patrolling the Carusoville area at 12:02 am. on April 9 when he spotted a small bonfire and a group of people drinking alcoholic beverages, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrests of Brittany Stowman, 20, Arbutus Avenue and Paul Vitale, 20, Avenue in Brick. The Bamber Lakes Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire, Paprota said.

Extra patrols had been added to the area after social media postings were located earlier in the week promoting Brick Township teens coming to the wooded areas of Lacey for parties featuring alcohol. Brick authorities were notified earlier in the week and assisted Lacey police in contacting the parents of the youths to reduce the likelihood of problems, the chief said.
