Casey Sinopoli, 20, Derek Simone, 31, both facing numerous charges, police chief says.

Lacey police recently arrested two men for possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine and a number of other drug charges when they found 99 wax folds of heroin after a motor vehicle stop on Clairmore Avenue, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Anthony Sarno stopped the vehicle at 10:17 p.m. on Nov. 8 for a suspended registration. While Sarno was speaking with the driver, Casey Sinopoli, 20, Clairmore Avenue, and his passenger Derek Simone, 31, Bonita Lane, Manahawkin, he saw a spoon with what appeared to be heroin residue on the floor, the chief said.
Sinopoli and Simone were both arrested. A search of the car yielded 99 wax folds of heroin, eight hypodermic syringes and other drug paraphernalia. Sinopoli also had an active $289 Hamilton Township Municipal Court traffic warrant, Paprota said.
