Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of $2,500 Of Copper Pipe
Incident happened at Normandie Drive house in Forked River, police chief says.

Someone crept into the crawlspace of a home in the 300 block of Normandie Drive in Forked River recently and stole all of the existing copper pipe plumbing, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Evan Androcy responded to the theft report at 5:06 p.m. on March 4. The victim told police that an unknown person or persons entered the crawlspace sometime between Feb. 22 and Feb. 26. The damage and theft is estimated at $2,500, the chief said.
The residence was vacant at the time of the theft, but has since been purchased, Paprota said.
