Lacey Police Investigating Theft Of $3,000 of Jewelry From Forked River Home, Police Chief Says

Someone forced their way into the home.

Lacey police are investigating the theft of $3,000 worth of jewelry taken from a home in the 200 block of Manchester Avenue recently, Police Chief Michael DiBella said.

Officers George Resetar and Jesse Dalziel responded to a residential burglary report at 5:35 p.m. on Aug. 2. The victim told police that sometime between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. that day, someone broke into the home and stole the jewelry, the chief said.

Damage to the residence is estimated at $200. Detective Keith Pearce also responded to the scene, DiBella said.
