Lacey Police Investigating Theft At Forked River Presbyterian Church

Apple Macbook and iPad stolen from church basement, police chief says,

Lacey police are investigating the recent thefts of two computers valued at $1,750 from the basement of the Forked River Presbyterian Church, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer George Resetar responded to the church at 131 Route 9 North in the Forked River section of the township at 7:48 p.m. on April 9, on a theft report, the chief said.

The victim told police that an unknown person or persons entered an unlocked room in the basement of the church and stole an Apple Macbook and an iPad sometime between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. The items are described as a 2008, aluminum, 13” Apple Macbook and  charger valued at $1,250 and a black, Apple iPad 2 with a red leather cover and charger valued at $500, Paprota said.
