Lacey Police Looking For Several Alleged Thieves

LACEY, NJ — Police are investigating theft and shoplifting from several Lacey businesses, including Walmart and Kohl's.

The Beauty Store: A sales associate told police at 11:23 a.m. Tuesday that a woman concealed merchandise in her purse and left without paying.

Walmart: Police went to Walmart on at 6:27 p.m. Sunday for a theft report. A woman took items from the store and ran to her vehicle when Loss Prevention officers approached her, authorities said. Then she drove off.

Kohl's: Someone stole $600 from a wallet left behind Saturday at Kohl's. The caller left the store and forgot her wallet in the shopping cart. Once she realized this, she asked customer service if anyone returned it.

Someone found her wallet and took it to customers service, but her cash was missing, police said. Police were called in at 2:24 p.m. Saturday.

Police said they are investigating surveillance video in the Walmart and The Beauty Store investigations. Lacey police have not publicly released surveillance video or images at this time.
