Lacey Theft Reports: Car Parts, Nike's, $4,900 In Cash

Lacey police reported thefts in the past week from a vehicle, a porch and Lacey Used Auto.

LACEY, N.J. — Car parts, Nike sneakers and $4,900 in cash were among the items stolen around Lacey in the last week, according to police.

The owner of Lacey Used Auto (602 Route 9 North) told Lacey police Thursday that someone removed several catalytic converters from vehicles in the yard.

Multiple pairs of Nike Sneakers, of value totaling $813, were stolen off a front porch, police said. The incident was reported at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday.

A vehicle burglary was reported to police Monday morning. $4,900 in cash was stolen out of a bank envelope from the center console, police said. The victim said someone entered the vehicle between May 10 and May 11, according to police. The car was parked in a driveway on Brentwood Place.

The incidents are under investigation.
