Lacey's 'Run The Pines For Canines' Coming Up On Saturday

Bring your sneakers, bring your dogs!

The popular ”Run The Pines For Canines 5k” race is on tap for Saturday. Participants can register starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Bamber Lakes Fire Company at 2630 on Lacey Road in Forked River

The actual run starts at 9 a.m. Trophies and awards will be given out for top runners and their dogs. The event is followed by post-race party with breakfast and free admission to the Popcorn Park Zoo.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Associated Humane Societies Popcorn Park Zoo at 1 Humane Way off Lacey Road.
