The public can attend, but bidders must have a $100,000 certified check.

Long Beach Island’s beloved Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven goes up for sale on Thursday, according to The Sandpaper.

Although the general public may attend to observe, if you intend to bid, make sure you bring a $100,000 certified check with you.

The Surflight complex comes with 61 acres of land, the theater, the Show Place Ice Cream Parlor, cast house and an administrative building. It could be redeveloped into a mixed use of retail and residential.
