Lanoka Harbor Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of A Minor
Michael A. Taynor arrested on two counts of assaulting girl who was 14 when incidents began.

A Lanoka Harbor man is lodged in the Ocean County Jail after he was charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a a child, an Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman said.
Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels set Michael A. Taynor’s bail at $150,000, with no ten percent option, spokesperson Al Della Fave said.
Lacey Township Police Detective Bob Surtees and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit Detective Melissa Matthews arrested and charged Taynor, 27, on Tuesday, he said.

The arrest was the result of an investigation that began on May 11, when a 16-year old female victim reported to the investigating detectives that Taynor sexually assaulted her two years ago, when she was 14, Della Fave said.
Based on the detectives’ investigation, Senior Assistant Prosecutor Terry Linardakis approved Taynor be charged with two counts of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, he said.

Daniels also ordered a no-victim contact order and Nicole’s Law were implemented.
