Lanoka Harbor Man Facing Drunk Driving, Drug Charges: Lacey Police

Police arrested David Vasil, 39, after responding to a report of an aggressive driver, police chief says.

Lacey police recently arrested a Lanoka Harbor man on drunk driving and drug charges after responding to a report of an aggressive driver.

Officer Michael Verwey responded to the area of Route 9 and Haines Street at 5:23 p.m. on July 29. The caller provided a description of the vehicle and the registration, which was traced back to David Vasil, 39, Oxford Road, Police Chief Michael DiBella said.

Verwey responded to the residence and located Vasil and the vehicle. An investigation at the scene led to the Vasil's arrest. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Suboxone, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and reckless driving, the chief said.
