'Large Scale' Fire Drill Set In Lacey: See Detours, Closures
The large scale drill Saturday in the Barnegat Pines section of Lacey will close some roads and detour others:
LACEY, NJ — Lacey's fire departments will be participating in a "large scale" drill this weekend, and traffic advisories have been issued by police.
The drill is set for Oct. 5 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the Barnegat Pines section of town (see below map for specifics).
Along with this drill will be temporary detours and closures. The affected roads are: Lakeside Drive (east side of second lake), between Lakeside Drive S to Lakeside Drive N and on Parker Avenue (east side of Mill Pond), between Lakeside Drive S to Station Drive.

Fire apparatus from Ocean, Monmouth and Atlantic counties will be seen in the area, performing a loop around the three lakes in town.
