Longtime Republican Freeholders Running Unopposed In GOP Primary
But John C. Bartlett and Gerry P. Little will face challenges in the fall by Democrats and Conservatives.

Veteran Freeholders John C. Bartlett Jr. and Gerry P. Little have both filed to run another three-year term on the Ocean County Board of Freeholders.
Bartlett, Motor Road, Pine Beach - who was first elected to the board in 1980 - and Little, 9th Street, Surf City, will face off against Victoria McErlean, Buccaneer Lane, Manahawkin and Josh Prizer, Seward Avenue, Toms River. McErlean and Prizer are running on the Common Sense Conservatives slate.
The candidates for the Official Regular Democratic Organization are Patricia Barndt, Longboat Avenue, Beachwood and Christopher Leitner, Donna Drive, Point Pleasant. They are running unopposed for the Democratic nomination.

Scott M. Colabella is running unopposed in the Republican primary for the Ocean County Clerk five-year term. Democrat Kieran Pillior Jr., Ocean Avenue, Island Heights, is running unopposed for the Democratic nomination.
