Man Found Weeks After Lacey Home Depot Shoplifting: Police
Two people have been charged with the Jan. 14 shoplifting incident, according to police.
LACEY, NJ — A Toms River man who got away after a shoplifting incident at Home Depot was caught Wednesday, Lacey police said. Robert Stevenson was the second person charged for the Jan. 14 incident, according to authorities.
Another person was arrested the day of the incident, authorities said. Lacey police didn't clarify in the Thursday announcement who else had been charged.
But Lacey police previously announced an arrest for shoplifting Jan. 14 at Home Depot. Mark Wixler tried to steal $2,500 worth of merchandise, police said Jan. 16.

Lacey police, meanwhile, issued a warrant for conspiracy to Stevenson. The Ocean County Sheriff's Department found the 45-year-old at 4:56 p.m. Wednesday.
He was taken to the Ocean County Jail.
