Manahawkin Man Parked At Wawa Gas Pumps In Lacey Charged With Drunk Driving

Christopher R. Molla also charged with reckless driving, police chief says.

Lacey Township police recently arrested a Manahawkin man and charged him with driving under the influence after they received a call about an intoxicated driver parked at the Wawa gas pumps on Route 9 South, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas responded to the Wawa in Forked River at 1:51 a.m. l Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 37-year-old Christopher B. Molla, 37, Anchor Avenue for DUI. He was taken to Lacey police headquarters, where he was processed and also charged with reckless driving and failure to exhibit an insurance card, the chief said.

The vehicle Molla was driving was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, Paprota said.
