Memory Café Offers Conversation For Those In Lacey With Memory Issues

The monthly Memory Café at the library allows those with mild memory issues to connect with peers like them in a casual environment.

LACEY, NJ — The new year brings an opportunity for those with mild memory issues and their care partners to connect with others experiencing similar situations.

The Ocean County Library Lacey Branch is hosting Early-Stage Memory Cafés, where those in early cognitive decline or diagnosed with early-stage memory loss and their caretakers can enjoy relaxed conversation and camaraderie, according to a library news release.

Those with memory issues can also connect with others in a casual environment that promotes social engagement and support, the library said.
