National Surveyors Week Commemorated In Lacey
The New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors commemorated their profession on Lacey Road.

The New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors celebrated National Surveyors Week in Lacey. The event took place Tuesday at a baseline calibration site on Lacey Road between the Bamber Lake Fire Department and Popcorn Park Zoo.
The NJSPLS, which was founded in 1979, celebrated its 40th anniversary. New Jersey Assemblywoman DiAnne Gove attended the event.
Professional land surveyors must calibrate their instruments annually. The Lacey Road location is a designated calibration site.

DiGove presented presented NJSPLS President Ambrose Gmeiner with the state's proclamation commemorating National Surveyors Week, which is taking place this week.
National Surveyors Weeks raises awareness of the profession and its important role. The NJSPLS thanked Keystone Precision, represented by Keith Jones and Jason O’Rourke, for demonstrations on instruments. Pete Priestner of Cooper Aerial provided refreshments.
