Ocean County-Based Urgent Care Is Short On Surgical Masks
Urgent Care Now NJ asked for donations as the novel coronavirus spreads locally and nationally.
LACEY, NJ — Urgent Care Now NJ, which has locations throughout Ocean County, has a shortage of surgical masks. The organization asked local businesses and the community for any mask donations they can provide.
"The monthly amount allotted by our medical supplier is not sufficient to properly service the needs of our community at this time," Urgent Care Now NJ wrote Sunday in a Facebook post.
The urgent-care center has facilities in Manahawkin, Lanoka Harbor, Little Egg Harbor and Toms River. Urgent Care Now began offering virtual visits Saturday. Telemedicine allows them to care for simple medical issues and offer coronavirus screenings remotely.
