Beach Blvd. In Lacey Now Clear After Police Activity
The street was closed between Waikiki Drive and Molokai Drive, and residents were advised to shelter in place.
Update: Beach Boulevard is now open in both directions, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said Friday evening.
LACEY, NJ — Authorities closed off part of Beach Boulevard because of "ongoing police operations," according to a Lacey Police Department emergency alert.
The street is closed in both directions between Waikiki Drive and Molokai Drive, police said at 4:34 p.m. Friday. Residents in the area are asked to shelter in place until advised otherwise.
