Professional Athletes Shoot Hoops With Lacey Residents

Impact and Dreams for Kids hosted March Madness at Lacey Township High School

Guest athletes from the NFL and NBA competed against Lacey residents at March Madness.

The event was held by Interact, a student organization, and Dreams for Kids, a nonprofit organization run by former NFL player Lonnie Allgood.

Professional football players from the Giants, Jets, Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders, Eagles and Patriots played basketball games against six teams made up of Lacey athletes, the high school varsity football team, a girls basketball team, teachers, coaches and police officers.

Proceeds go toward clean water in Wales and Peru, polio eradication, and Dreams for Kids.
