Discenza, Horvath Win Lacey School Board Seats

LACEY, NJ — Two new faces will be on the dais for the Lacey Township Board of Education, following Tuesday's election.
According to unofficial results on the Ocean County Board of Elections website, Regina Discenza and Frank Horvath have won the two, three-year seats, defeating incumbents Robert Klaus II and David Silletti, and Gregory Pancza.
Discenza received 3,238 votes, Horvath 3,003; Silletti 2,211; Klaus 2,182, and Pancza received 1,970. Amanda Buron, who dropped out of the race in the last week, 2,365.

In the Township Committee race for two, three-year terms, Republicans Tim McDonald and Mark Dykoff (who replaced Gary Quinn on the ballot when Quinn was chosen for the Ocean County freeholder race), easily defeated Democrats Shawn Judson and Edward "Ted" Kownacki.
The unofficial vote tallies have McDonald with 6,916; Dykoff with 6,673; Kownacki with 3,883 and 3,828 for Judson.
