Lacey Teen Hurt In Parkway Crash In Beachwood

State police said the young woman was taken to the hospital but her injuries were not life-threatening.

BEACHWOOD, NJ — An 18-year-old from Lacey Township was injured Thursday morning when her car went off the Garden State Parkway into the center median, New Jersey State Police said.

The young woman from the Forked River section was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune with injuries that were not life-threatening, Trooper Alejandro Goez said Thursday afternoon.

She was northbound when her Toyota Corolla left the highway and wound up in the center median at milemarker 79.6, he said.

There were no other vehicles involved, he said.
