Sections Of Manchester Avenue In Lacey To Close Tonight For Repaving

The Ocean County Road Department will begin repaving the section of Manchester Avenue between Haines Street and Snipe Road tonight, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Detours will be in place when the work starts at 7:30 p.m. and ends by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, the chief said.

"To facilitate the completion of the project in one night, that section of the roadway will be closed during the paving," Paprota said. "Motorists will be detoured around the area utilizing alternate routes. Limited access will be available to residents within the affected area."
