Several Arrested After Loud Party On Sunrise Boulevard

Three charged in connection with underage drinking in home during early morning hours of Sept. 20, police chief says.

Lacey police recently charged a Forked River man with creating a noise disturbance and allowing underage persons to drink alcohol in a home on the 600 block of Sunrise Boulevard in Forked River, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Saturday, September 20, 2015, at 2:19 a.m., Sergeant Paul Sullivan, Jr., and Officers John D. Simonson, and Scott Keefe responded to the home on a report of a loud party. Investigation at the scene led a special form of complaint and summons issued against Nicholas Bland, 18, Sunrise Boulevard, for both creating the noise disturbance and for allowing underage persons to consume alcohol in the home.

Also charged was Michelle McLeod, 19, Lakeside Drive South, Forked River, and Thomas Nagy, 20, Briar Road, Lanoka Harbor. Both were issued summonses for underage consumption of alcohol in a private residence, the chief said.
