Suspect Robs Wawa on Lacey Road, Then Flees
White male in his 20s demanded cash from fuel attendant, police chief says.

Lacey police are searching for a six-foot tall white male who approached a fuel attendant in a kiosk at the Wawa on Lacey Road and demanded all of the money, Sgt. Paul Sullivan said.
The robbery occurred at 6:44 p.m. on Monday night. The suspect demanded money from the cash drawer, then fled on foot through the parking lot. Multiple Lacey police officers responded to the call and searchedi the area, with no success, he said.
No weapons were involved and no injuries were reported during the incident. Lacey police were assisted by K9 officers from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI unit. The investigation is ongoing.
