SWAT Team Busts Into Lacey Home After Apparent Gunshots: Prosecutor

Ocean County SWAT assisted Lacey police with a man in distress Sunday night, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

LACEY, NJ — Apparent gunshots at a Lacey home lead to a SWAT team taking a man into custody Sunday night, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.

Ocean County SWAT responded to the home on Bermuda Drive around 8 p.m. on July 10 to help the Lacey Township Police Department with a man in distress, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

Police breached the front door after hearing "what they believed to be gun shots," Billhimer said.

Ocean County SWAT found the man inside the house, who was taken into custody without incident, Billhimer said. He was turned over to Lacey police, Billhimer said.
