Veterans Tribute Grows At This Southern Ocean Library
A small array of veteran photos was placed in the Ocean County Library Waretown Branch a year ago. Today, it continues to grow:

Branch Manager Jennifer Lennon placed the first photos before Veterans Day 2023 as a gesture for loved ones who “wore the colors,” the library shared in a news release.

Now, the display has 55 images of local wartime and peacetime veterans, five times the size of the

“I grew up in a military family. My dad, uncle and grandfather all served. So I have always had a very healthy respect for the military and its traditions,” Lennon said. “I wanted to create a space where they can all be celebrated, regardless of branch or time in history.
