Woman's Car Keyed Multiple Times In Lacey Mall Parking Lot
Incident happened while she was shopping, police chief says.

Lacey police are investigating a recent incident at the Lacey Mall where a woman’s car was scratched a number of times while she was in the ShopRite store, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Anthony Sarno responded to the Lacey Mall for a report of criminal mischief at 7:21 p.m. on Feb. 17. The victim told police that she parked her vehicle in the Lacey Mall parking lot at approximately 6:45 p.m. and went into the store. When she came out half an hour later, she found noticed numerous scratches on the driver’s side of her vehicle. The scratches appeared to have been made with a small metallic object such as a key, the chief said.
The damage to the vehicle is estimated at $1,500. The loss prevention office was notified regarding possible surveillance video of the parking lot, Paprota said.
