Beginning in the Spring and over the past several months , the Education Department of the WCL reached out to the community and schools for donations of gently used or new books. This past December we are proud to report we were able to collect, sort and donate 1,084 books to the Bridge of Books Foundation. These books will be distributed to communities where there is a shortage of reading materials for school age children. The Lacey Township Women’s Club will continue to support children’s literacy.
