2 Men Charged After Throwing Eggs At Pedestrians In Lakewood: Police
Two 18-year-old men have been charged with simple assault and face more charges, Lakewood police said. A 17-year-old was arrested as well.

LAKEWOOD, NJ β Two 18-year-old men from Brick have been charged with simple assault in connection with eggs thrown at pedestrians in Lakewood, police said Friday.
Zack Hadley, 18, Jace Pichirallo, 18, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested about 12:40 a.m. Friday, Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said. They are believed to involved in at least seven incidents, and additional charges are pending, he said.
Lakewood police received several calls about the occupants of a Nissan Altima throwing eggs at pedestrians and property, and found the Nissan in the area of Lanes Mill Road and Joe Parker Road, Staffordsmith said.

Officer Nicholas Romeo, assisted by members of the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch, found the car and Romeo saw evidence of the crime in the car, Staffordsmith said.
Staffordsmith said Detective Michael Dennis investigated and charged the two 18-year-olds; the 17-year-old was released to his parents.
