41 Forced From Homes In Lakewood Apartment Fire
The fire is under investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, according to reports.

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A fire in a Lexington Avenue apartment building forced 10 families into temporary shelter, Red Cross officials said Friday.
The fire was reported shortly before 11:30 p.m. in a three-story building near the intersection of Lexington and 6th Street, The Lakewood Scoop reported.
The fire was under control in about five minutes and damage was limited to the outside of the building, NJ.com reported.

There are 41 people in the 10 families displaced by the fire, the Red Cross said.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze, NJ.com reported. The Lakewood Scoop said the fire had been deemed suspicious.
