Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Jersey Shore Parkway Crash

LAKEWOOD, NJ — A Little Silver man was injured Wednesday when he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey State Police said.

Thomas D. Spencer, 23, was riding a Honda motorcycle south on the Parkway just before 12:30 p.m. when he lost control as he left the Parkway via the exit ramp at Exit 89B for Route 70 west, Trooper Christopher Postorino said.

The motorcycle hit the left guardrail and Spencer was thrown from the bike, Postorino said.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital, Postorino said.

The crash remains under investigation.
