Pickup Truck Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run On Route 70 That Killed Bicyclist
A "Pepsi blue" pickup truck was seen leaving the site of the crash that killed a bicyclist on Thursday night, authorities said.

LAKEWOOD, NJ β Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding the driver of a pickup truck in connection with a hit-and-run crash Thursday night on Route 70 in Lakewood that killed a bicyclist.
The vehicle is described as a full-size, four-door "Pepsi blue" pickup truck, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Lakewood Police Chief Gregory Meyer said in a joint news release.
The crash at Route 70 and New Hampshire Avenue was reported at 8:12 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.

The pickup truck may have damage to the headlight on the driver's side; it was last seen headed west on Route 70 toward Manchester Township, authorities said.
The victim is a man who was riding his bicycle westbound on Route 70 on the south shoulder of the road, Billhimer said. No additional information about the man was released.

"This is obviously an ongoing and active investigation and any assistance from anyone that may have witnessed this incident or has seen this vehicle would be greatly appreciated," Billhimer said.
