Lakewood Man Fled Police Twice; They Found Him In Parking Lot
The man had fled from Lakewood police and as Toms River police looked for him, took off again.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Lakewood man was arrested Monday in Toms River after police say he fled arrests in Lakewood and Toms River.
Dominique L. Holly, 26, of Lakewood, was arrested Monday afternoon at Ocean County Mall, said Jillian Messina of the Toms River Police Department.
Lakewood police had called Toms River on Sunday evening when Holly had fled as Lakewood police tried to arrest him in connection with an unspecified investigation.

About 1 a.m. Monday Toms River police saw the vehicle that Lakewood police were seeking and Holly in the area of Hooper Avenue and Route 37, but when Toms River police tried to pull it over, Holly fled at high speed, Messina said. Police terminated the pursuit because it posed a danger to bystanders.
In the afternoon, however, while police were responding to an unrelated investigation, police found Holly and the vehicle he had been driving in the lot and arrested him on the outstanding arrest warrant from Lakewood and impounded the vehicle, she said.

Holly was charged by Toms River police with eluding, obstruction by flight, and a host of motor vehicle offenses. The investigation was conducted by Toms River Police Officers Brian Jarka, James Colline, and John Minor, with the assistance of the Detective Bureau.
Holly is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
