• Staying safe in the water this summer (starnewsgroup.com) — Lavallette Elementary students just completed a four-day water safety program designed to give them practical, life-saving skills around pools, lakes, rivers, and the ocean. Partnering with The ZAC Foundation and the New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance, the school used stories, games, and the “ABCDEs” of water safety to help kids teach themselves—and their parents—how to stay safer in and around water this summer.
