• Sotto Voce & Avanti Orchestra present: ‘Fidelio' (visitbuffalo.com) — A Lawrence-based soprano, Amanda Santos, is starring as Leonore in a Buffalo production of Beethoven’s only opera, “Fidelio,” this August, alongside the Avanti! Orchestra. The show, sung in German with English dialogue and subtitles, blends live performance with original short films to deepen the drama for audiences.
