2 New Pickleball Courts Open In Lawrence Township
The courts are located at Central Park and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Pickleball is one of America's fastest-growing sports and here in Lawrenceville, residents are quite in love with the game.
In response to the growing popularity of the sport, the township has now opened two pickleball courts at Central Park.
The Recreation Department has transformed one of the tennis courts into two dedicated pickleball courts, offering residents more opportunities to enjoy this fun and engaging game.

To ensure that everyone gets a chance to play and enjoy the courts, players are advised to share the space on a first-come, first-served basis.
The township has requested residents to limit their playtime to 30 minutes if someone is waiting to use the court.

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong. It was first created in 1965 by three dads from Bainbridge Island, Washington.
It can be played indoors and outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.
