20-Year-Old Mercer Man Killed In Friday Morning Shooting: Prosecutor
Markell Biggs of Trenton was found with gunshot wounds early Friday morning, authorities said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 20-year-old Mercer County man was killed in a shooting that took place early Friday morning, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Markell Biggs of Trenton was found with gunshot wounds to the torso area, police said.
Around 12:03 a.m., Trenton police responded to the area of Aspen Alley and Evans Avenue in response to a Shot Spotter activation.

On arrival, officers found Biggs with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso area. He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment, and was pronounced dead at the hospital, Onofri said.
No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating.
