Family members will learn how to identify the early warning signs of Alzheimer's in their loved ones through this interactive workshop

Mercer County area residents are invited to the Alzheimer’s Association’s community education program on dementia, entitled, “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters”. The program will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Galilee Baptist Church, 440 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Trenton. The program is free but registration is required to reserve seating and materials. Please call 973.586.4300 by May 29 to RSVP.

Program Description: The warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease are often dismissed as side effects of normal aging. If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or changes in behavior or thinking skills, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection, diagnosis and intervention are vital because they provide the best opportunities for treatment, support and planning for the future. Attend this interactive workshop to learn the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease. We’ll separate myth from reality and address commonly held fears about Alzheimer’s disease.
