Bonfire Returns to Mercer County for New Year's Eve

The Hogmanay Bonfire begins at 6 p.m. in Lawrenceville.

The Lawrenceville Historical Society will once again host its Hogmanay Bonfire for New Year’s Eve, according to bestofnj.com.

It takes place Wednesday, Dec. 31, 6 p.m. in the Great Meadow behind the Brearley House. It is free and open to the public.

Hogmanay is a Scottish New Year’s celebration, and came to Mercer County for the first time in 1997. It has become an annual tradition.
