Boyfriend Put Woman’s Body In Trash Bag In Mercer Basement: Officials
Corrine Daniels, 41, was found dead in the basement of her home on Sept. 21. Her boyfriend Alton Eubanks was arrested in Middleburg, NY.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 48-year-old Trenton man was charged with purposefully disturbing, moving and/or concealing human remains after his girlfriend’s body was found in a basement, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said Thursday.
Alton Eubanks, 48, was arrested on Wednesday in Middleburg, NY, by U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Resident Found Dead In Basement Of Mercer Home Identified
According to investigation, Daniels and Eubanks lived together at the Park Avenue home as boyfriend and girlfriend. After Daniels’ death, Eubanks placed her body in a black trash bag and moved her to the basement where she was found by officers, Onofri said.

An autopsy was conducted on Sept. 22 by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause and manner of Daniels' death are pending as the medical examiner’s office awaits the results of additional testing, Onofri said.
The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to detain Eubanks pending trial.
