Annual Fish Fry - Saturday, July 14 from 1-4 p.m. at Eggerts Crossing Village's Fred Vereen Community Center, 175 Johnson Avenue, Lawrence Twp. Price: $20.00 per person
The Eggerts Crossing Civic League will be sponsoring its "Annual Fish Fry" on Saturday, July 14th, 2012, at the Eggerts Crossing Village's Fred Vereen Jr. Community Center, 175 Johnson Avenue, Lawrence Township, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The donation per person is $20.00.
This is a fundraiser event for our Scholarship Fund and Community Projects. Your faithful support over the years has enable the Civic League to give out over a hundred awards and have made it possible for the Civic League to provide financial support to our youth who are pursuing higher education. There is a greater demand for financial help due to the increased cost of college education.
The Civic League will be presenting during the Fish Fry event a total of $2,000 in scholarship to two Lawrence Township residents. The recipients of the Eggerts Crossing Civic League scholarships are as follows. The Tomas Anderson Award recipient is Edward C. Carrington and the Loveless/Ketterher Family Award recipient is Aaliyah Walker.
