College Softball: Rider’s Sensi MAAC Rookie of the Week
Freshman Dana Sensi of the Rider University softball team was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for all games played March 18-24, it was announced Monday (March 25).
EDISON — Freshman Dana Sensi (Allentown) of the Rider University softball team was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for all games played March 18-24, it was announced Monday afternoon (March 25).
Sensi was sensational, batting .556 in six games with 10 hits, two doubles and a home run.
Sensi scored twice and knocked in six runs and compiled a slugging percentage of .833.

In 26 games this season (all starts), Sensi leads the team in batting average (.378), hits (31), doubles (7), home runs (2) and RBIs (14).
Sensi also leads the team with eight multiple hit games and three multiple RBI games.

Weather permitting, Rider is scheduled to host Hartford on Tuesday at 2:30pm in a non-conference doubleheader at Herb and Joan Young Field.
