Both the Rider University men's and women's tennis teams were swept in a non-conference match at Drexel University Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 23).
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Both the Rider University men’s and women’s tennis teams were swept in a non-conference match at Drexel University Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 23).
For the Rider men, senior Drew Laverty (Mount Royal/Kingsway Regional) won four games at third singles before losing 6-1, 6-3.
For the Bronc women, senior Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won two games at first singles before losing 6-1, 6-1.

Both teams wrap up the fall 2012 season with a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match against Saint Peter’s University on Saturday at 11 a.m. on the campus courts in Lawrenceville.
