Pianist Nathaniel Maxwell to Present Interactive Solo Recital on June 14
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Pianist Nathaniel Maxwell will present a solo recital on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 PM at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, 1039 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
The program, titled Masters at Play, explores the works of Bach, Brahms, Chopin, and other classical masters through the lens of improvisation. Blending tradition with spontaneity, Maxwell highlights the creative spirit that shaped these composers’ musical worlds.
A unique feature of the recital is an interactive, audience‑guided improvisation segment, inviting listeners to help shape a piece in real time. Audience members of all ages are encouraged to participate.
Maxwell serves on the faculty of The New School for Music Study in Kingston, NJ, where he teaches piano and improvisation.
This event is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be received to support The English School at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church.
