Hero Dog Park Contract Awarded By Lawrence Council

Township officials opened bids for the project on Sept. 8. The plan is to build a state-of-the-art dog park and recreational area.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The contract to build the Township’s new dog park was recently awarded to a Bayville-based contractor.

TC Landscape Construction Group Inc., won the award to build the dog park on Ohio Avenue. The bid, at 496,740 was the lower of two submitted to the Council.

“This is a really good project. We had put out bids and we have someone that’s successfully bid and is able to do this work for a fair amount of money,” Municipal Manager Kevin Nerwinski said during the Sept. 20 council meeting. “We hope by the end this will be a state-of-the-art recreational facility for all to enjoy – dog lovers, as well as pedestrians.”
